Mark Woodyard is a multi-talented musician who uses looping machines, his voice and his guitar to create a truly unique and dance-inspiring sound. He’s best known for his wide array of genre-bending covers that showcase his vocal range and eclectic style. Often referred to as a “Human Jukebox”, his knowledge of music spans effortlessly across eras and genres. Born and raised in North Vancouver, he has been playing shows for 15 years at events, weddings and bars in the Vancouver area, getting booked by clients such as Lululemon, Cactus Club and The Donnelly Group. He released his debut original EP Pull Out The Knife in 2013 and has since joined hip hop group The X Presidents who have performed with artists such as Warren G, Slum Village and recently toured across Europe with members of The Pharcyde. Right now he is residing in Europe, writing and playing shows in Spain and England. He is expected back in Canada in July as he is booked to perform for the opening month of King Tap in Toronto. The X Presidents are currently working on their first full-length album, slated to release later this year.
